The 2009 East Wake Friends of Baseball tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 11 at Zebulon Country Club.

Event coordinators are hoping to see 30-32 teams compete in the four-man, super ball tournament, and right now there are several spots yet to fill.

The cost of $300 for a team to enter the tourney covers the round of golf, lunch, dinner and a goodie bag for each golfer. For an additional $100, each of the four players in a group can receive a mulligan, a red-tee drive, a $5,000 putt-off entry and ten 50/50 raffle tickets.

For more information, contact Greg Johnson at Zebulon Parks and Recreation at 269-8265, or at home at 404-1155, or call Kerry Warrior baseball coach Kerry Kincaid at 740-3562.
