Zebulon — The Carolina Mudcats have begun releasing tickets for individual games for the 2008 regular season. Tickets may be purchased by phone at 269-2287, walk-up at Five County Stadium or via www.gomudcats.com.

Walk-up orders can be placed by credit cards, checks or cash. Phone or Internet orders must be placed with credit cards.

Ticket prices at Five County Stadium for the regular season are $9 for premium field-level seats, $8 for box seats, $7 for reserved field-level and $5 for general admission grandstand when purchased in advance. Prices increase by $1 when tickets are purchased at the gates.

The Mudcats, who are entering their sixth campaign as the Florida Marlins Double-A affiliate, open their 70-game home slate at Five County Stadium Wednesday, April 9, at 7:15 p.m. against the Montgomery Biscuits. Carolina will open the regular season on the road in Mobile, Ala., Thursday, April 3, against the BayBears.
