June's Teacher Excellence Award (TEA) was presented at Knightdale Chamber's Business After Hours, hosted by Harris Wholesale June 4. The TEA is presented to honor a deserving teacher in appreciation of love and dedication to the children of Knightdale. This month’s award recipient is Elizabeth Wright, 5th grade teacher at Knightdale Year-Round Elementary School. Her husband and colleague accepted the award in Wright's absence: a $100 VISA gift card and plaque.
