The April Knightdale Chamber Of Commerce Teacher Excellence Award was presented in honor of Forestville Road Elementary (FRE) teacher Imelda Corral-Mills. The award was accepted by her husband, Sam Mills, Principal Vivian Pridgen, and teacher colleagues. In Ms. Corral-Mills’ memory, in addition to a plaque, a $100 check was donated by KCOC and Sylvan Learning Center to purchase books for the FRE Media Center.
