Mary Virginia Barnes, 80, of Kenly died Wednesday, July 1. She was the
widow of Allen Raymond Barnes.The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday, July 3, at Minshew-Coley Funeral
Home, 103 E. 2nd St., Kenly. Elders Garland Vick and Harold Pittman
will officiate. Burial will follow in Kenly Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Bobby Allen Barnes of Kenly; a daughter, KathleenMozingo of Kenly; two brothers, Lester Barnes and Russell Barnes, both
of Wilson; a sister, Dora Parks of Charlotte; seven grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.The family will receive friends from 7 till 9 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at
the funeral home.
