A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Vincent Boughman and Lois Honeycutt Boughman.

She was retired from Nationwide Insurance Company where she was a commercial trainer and from Bradshear and Bunn Insurance Compnay where she was an agent. She was a member of Watkins Chapel Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 25 at Watkins Chapel Baptist Church in Middlesex. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Survivors include seven children, Tina Rizzuti of Willow Springs, Dolores Denton of Middlesex, Donna Oxendine of Raleigh, Leonard Rizzuti of Indiana, Benjamin Rizzuti of Zebulon and Guenyvere Rizzuti and Morgan Rizutti both of the home; one brother, Charlie V. Boughman Jr. of Knightdale; three sisters, Peggy B. Whitley of Wendell, Betty B. Thornton of Zebulon and Brenda F. Boughman of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, David Rizzuti; a sister, Virginia B. Bunn; and a brother, Jim Boughman.
