Survivors include her husband, Wallace Gupton Jones of Raleigh; one son, Wally Carl Jones and his wife Christina of Zebulon; one daughter, Jill J. Murr and her husband, Buddy of Raleigh; her mother Lyda Cozart Moody of Wake Forest; three sisters, Charity Honeycutt and her husband Charles of Wake Forest, Diane Parrish and her husband Donald of Wendell and Melodee Stokes and her husband Randy of Raleigh; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home of her daughter, Jill, 3376 Peebles Rd., Raleigh.
