ZEBULON – Ernestine “Tina” Pippin Hignutt, 85, formerly of Robinwood, died Monday, July 20, 2009 at Guardian Care. A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Bryant and Ruth Medlin Pippin and the widow of Raymond Hignutt.

Survivors include two daughters, Ginger Griffin and her husband Tom and Joyce Paoli; one son, Ray Hignutt and his wife, Mary; two sisters, Janet Taylor and Ruth Page; one brother, Sammy Pippin; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Strickland Funeral Home, Wendell. Burial will follow in the Pippin family cemetery.
