KNIGHTDALE – Victor Marshall Massey Sr., 68, of 4528 Clifton Road, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Rex Healthcare as the result of an aneuriysm. A native of Wake Couty, he was the son of the late Victor Venton Massey adn Margaret Marshall Massey. He graduated from Rolesville High School and Durham Barber Academy. He barbered for 50 years and for many of those years volunteered his time to cut the hair of children at Hilltop Home.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Liles Massey; two sons, Victor M. Massey Jr. and Ricky G. Massey and his wife Tammy all of Knightdale; two daughters, Vickie M. Best and her husband Troy and Sheila M. Pritsky and her husband Bill all of Knightdale; one sister, Betty M. Horton and her husband Charles of Wendell; three brothers, Robert H. Massey and his wife Joyce of Cary, Marvin W. Massey and his wife Sandra of Knightdale and E. Worley Massey and his wife Nancy of Raleigh; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Knightdale with the Rev. George Pulliam and the Rev. Robert R. Boone officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
