FEARRINGTON VILLAGE – Mary Jane Bingham Crovitz, 77, of 586 Woodbury, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at home following a battle with cancer.

A native of Ironton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Earl and Margaret Hailey Bingham. She was a gardener, cook and pianist.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert F. Crovitz of the home; two sons, Jonathan Burtnett of Anacortes, Wash. and Timothy Burtnett of Apex; two daughters, Carrie Dasen and her husband Dale of Youngsville and Amy Johnson and her husband Larry of Wendell; two brothers, James Bingham and John Bingham; several step-children; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at noon in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the home.
