The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 U.S. 70 Business West, Clayton. The Rev. Jim Harmeling will officiate. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Surviving are his wife, Maybelle C. Ross; a daughter, Cynthia Gail Ray of Wendell; a son, Johnny W. Ross of Clayton; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at the funeral home.
