A native of Pennsylvania, she lived in Middlesex for the last 10 years Survivors include her husband, Michael D. Barnes of Middlesex; one daughter, Marie E. Gutshall; two sons, Michael Barnes and Dallas Barnes; her parents, Robert J. and Elizabeth A. Kane; two sisters, Cindy Estephan and her husband Samir and Tina Burdette and her husband Bill; one brother, Frank C. Kane.

Funeral services were held last Tuesday at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Friendship F.W.B. Church or to the Rex Cancer Center.
