WENDELL -- Bobby Junior Creech, 69, of 2100 Davis Town Road, died April 12. Funeral was April 15 in the Strickland Funeral Home chapel with entombment to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

A native of Johnston County, he was the son of the late James Powell and Emma Winston Creech. He retired from Winn Dixie after 34 years of service. He was an avid fisherman, camper and NASCAR enthusiast. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene.

Surviving: wife of 47 years, Linda Garner Creech of the home; sons, Bobby Glenn Creech and wife Patricia, and David James Creech and wife Rita, both of Wendell; brother, Javis Earl Creech of Zebulon; sister, Mary Faye Reavis and husband Lee of Wilson; grandchildren, Christopher Creech and Ashley Lynn Creech.
