WENDELL — Ann Wittenberg Heider, 85, died March 28. Memorial service
was April 1 at St. Philip Lutheran Church, Raleigh.
She will be remembered by her smile, sense of humor, and her love for
stories and sports. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
Bob” Warren Heider Sr.; parents, Victor and Harriet Wittenberg; and
son, James Ward.
Surviving: children, Ellen Yahr of Milwaukee, Wis., Robert Heider Jr.
and wife Sandy of South Jordan, Utah, Sandy Grabow and husband Dave of
Tallahassee, Fla., John Heider and wife Ellen of Graham, David Heider
and wife Linda of Zebulon; 11 grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to St. Philip Lutheran Church, 7304 Falls of
Neuse Road, Raleigh 27615. Arrangements by L. Harold Poole Funeral
Service and Crematory, Knightdale.
