Zebulon — Capital Bank held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its Zebulon branch on Thursday. The Zebulon location is the chain’s 26th branch, the bank reported in a news release.

The ceremony took place at 10 a.m. at the branch, located at 1260 N. Arendell Ave. Capital is planning to host a grand opening celebration in January.

The chain is focusing on growth, said the new branch’s leader Bill Clement.

“Capital Bank is a strong organization concentrating on new growth and becoming a part of the Zebulon community is a great achievement for us,”said Bill Clement, Senior Vice President, Zebulon City Executive for Capital Bank.

Clement, an Appalachian State graduate, came on board with Capital Bank in 2006. He has lived in Zebulon for about 15 years.
