Teen charged with selling pot out of Mason jar

— A Zebulon man was charged with trying to sell a Mason jar filled with bags of marijuana on Sunday, May 25.

Mister Taylor remained in jail the Monday after police charged him with with one felony count of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, according to arrest warrants filed at the Wake County Magistrate’s Office.

Investigators have accused Taylor of having in his possession a Mason jar filled with individually wrapped baggies of marijuana, court records show.

Taylor, 18, of 508 E. North Street in Zebulon, was also charged with one misdemeanor count each for possession of a digital scale and consuming an alcoholic beverage by a person under 19, court records show.

The teen was held at the Wake County jail under a $9,000 bail, court records show, but qualified for pretrial release the night of May 27 according to jail officials.
