JOHNSTON COUNTY SCHOOLS

Corinth Holders High School's FFA Chapter recently participated in the 2014 N.C. FFA Senior and Junior Division Livestock Evaluation Career Development Event.

Competing on the Corinth Holders FFA Senior Livestock Judging team were Ben Watkins, Katelyn Honeycutt, Holly Price and Jerry Deloatch. The team placed 5th in the East Central Region and 4th in the Johnston Federation. Honeycutt earned a 6th place finish in the region and Holly Price earned a 5th place finish in the region.

Competing on the Corinth Holders FFA Junior Livestock Judging team were Ally Edwards, Marcy Price, Casey Sanders and Heather Kirby. The team placed 1st in the Johnston Federation, 1st in the East Central Region, and 2nd in the state. Sanders earned a 9th place finish in the region. Price placed 8th in the region. Edwards placed 1st in the region and 6th in the state.

The top three teams and high-scoring individuals will be recognized during the 86th State FFA Convention in Raleigh June 17-19.
