Wake Community Foundation accepting grant applications

March 28, 2014

The Board of Directors of the Wake County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests for community projects funded from its community fund.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Wake County. Priority will be given to projects that target essential needs such as food, clothing, shelter, medicine and job training, and have annual budgets of $500,000 or less.

Applications are available online only, at www.nccommunityfoundation.org (look under “Affiliates/Wake County”). The deadline for submitting applications is April 29.

The Wake County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation. The community fund was established to help support local charitable needs through annual grants.
