Charitable donation

Building 323 has received $2,500 for food purchases from the Food Lion Charitable Foundation just in time for summer to help feed local residents during the holiday season.

Building 323 will use the gift to purchase food that will be distributed to families in need. Building 323, a nonprofit organization, distributes food each week to hundreds of families. Distributions are held on Mondays from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Building 323’s food pantry at 73 Wilder Road, Middlesex.

ADHD remedies

Trinity Chiropractic Wellness will host a workshop about natural ADHD remedies at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at 4011 Village Park Drive, Knightdale.

•  8:15 to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 25: Food & Facts is a new professional development program designed to provide business owners with pertinent information. This session will be led by Triangle Business Journal. Registration is requested.

•  8 to 9 a.m. Friday, March 28: Fourth Fridays includes breakfast and morning networking at the Knightdale Chamber, 207 Main St., Knightdale. This members-only program offers the chance to enjoy breakfast, coffee and juice and network with other members. Registration is requested.

•  Noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2: The Chamber’s Ambassador Team meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the Chamber.

•  5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3: Business After Hours will be hosted at Wells Fargo Bank, 6615 Knightdale Blvd., Knightdale. Enjoy appetizers, entertainment and door prizes, as well as the chance to donate a book in honor of National Literacy Month.

•  11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 8: Food & Facts is a new professional development program designed to provide business owners with pertinent information. This session will be led by Capital Area Workforce Development. Registration is requested.

• The Chamber of Commerce will be closed Friday, April 18, in honor of Good Friday.

•  11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 16: Food & Facts is a new professional development program designed to provide business owners with pertinent information. This session will be led by Stephen Hand, Triangle BNI. Registration is requested.

•  11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 22: Food & Facts is a new professional development program designed to provide business owners with pertinent information. This session will be led by Anissa Starnes of Constant Contact. Registration is requested.

•  9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday, April 24: The Red Ribbon Showcase provided a ribbon cutting ceremony for member businesses who do not have a storefront or local presence to accommodate a traditional ribbon cutting. This showcase will be held at Carillon Assisted Living of Knightdale, 2408 Hodge Road, Knightdale.
