Vantage South Bank’s Knightdale branch scheduled to close in May

From staff reportsFebruary 14, 2014

— The same week Knightdale Seafood and BBQ closed its doors, Vantage South Bank announced it would be closing its Knightdale location in May.

The spot is one of five branches across the state that will close as part of a “normal course of business,” said Vantage South President Steve Jones.

Over the past three years, Vantage South has merged with the first Vantage South Bank in Burlington, the Community Bank of Rolene and Salisbury, Crescent State Bank in Raleigh and East Carolina Bank in the eastern part of the state.

Knightdale’s Vantage South customers will move to the branch at 6408 Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh, about 12 miles away.
