Zebulon chamber seeks Citizen of the Year

January 14, 2014

The Zebulon Chamber of Commerce is still seeking nominations for the 2013 Citizen of the Year. The deadline has been extended to Jan. 15.

The chamber annually recognizes a resident who has made an outstanding contribution to the community in that year. Nominees do not have to be chamber members.

Nominations may be submitted by any chamber member, civic club, business, or resident of the Zebulon area. If you know someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the people and the town of Zebulon, visit www.ZebulonChamber.org, and click “Citizen of the Year” under the Community heading.

Hard-copy forms can also be picked up at the Eastern Wake News office, 110 Arendell Ave., Zebulon. Once filled out, forms should be returned to the Zebulon Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 546, Zebulon, or faxed to 919-269-6350.

Eastern Wake News is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news.
