Black Belt World’s North Knights Demo Team won first place Nov. 9 at the Lee Brothers Cup, an annual Tae Kwon Do tournament. The school competed against the top 10 Tae Kwon Do schools from NC and VA. The team performed a 10-minute choreographed performance that showcased skills from each of the 32 members, including board and block breaking, gymnastics, and even some comedy acting.

The students were dedicated to the task, taking time from their evening and weekend schedules to train, even spending the night together as the competition drew near.

For winning the 31st annual Lee Brothers Cup, the team received the official first place cup, a $300 gift certificate for training equipment, and a $200 check.
