Students place in National Leadership Conference event

Three Corinth Holders High School students – River Norris, Christian Green, and Jake Altman – placed eighth nationally in the National Leadership Conference marketing event held last summer in Anaheim, Calif. They are members of the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda chapter at Corinth Holders High School. These students are the first national winners representing a Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) at Corinth Holders High.

Spaghetti dinner fundraiser

Wakelon Elementary will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Zebulon Baptist Church, 400 N. Arendell Ave., Zebulon. Tickets cost $5 per person, or $10 for a family of four.
