Zebulon Lions Auxiliary hands out checks

September 21, 2013

The Zebulon Lions Club Auxiliary recently presented donations to a number of organizations both locally and statewide.

Funds for these donations were made possible through projects conducted by the club’s members during the year – projects that many individuals and businesses in the community supported.

Contributions were made to The Zebulon Boys & Girls Club, the Zebulon Fire Department, Purple Shoe, The International Rett Syndrome Foundation, Camp Dogwood and the Zebulon Lions Club.

The Lions Club Auxiliary is charged with helping and supporting its parent organization, the Zebulon Lions Club, to which the Auxiliary makes several contributions throughout the year, as well as offering its members’ assistance with projects.

The other organizations receiving funds are key agencies that the club’s members feel are important to them personally and are of great assistance throughout the Zebulon community and the state.
