Cub Scouts kick off

September 12, 2013

The offensive team leader strategizes with his team at a registration drive event for the local Cub Scout pack.

Pack 522, a Zebulon chapter of the Cub Scouts, began meeting at 7 p.m. Mondays starting Sept. 9 at Zebulon Baptist Church. With the help of parents at home, the Cub Scouts seek to instill 12 core values with the aim of making participants better students, friends, citizens, and leaders of their generation. Pack 522 is dedicated to working with families who have Scouts in church, school, music, and other recreational activities, in order to provide a sense of balance and belonging to the Scouts. It’s open to boys from first through fifth grades. For more information, email or call Denise Pearce at 919-269-5275.
