A Night of Hope

Eternity Praise and Worship and 3:16 Outreach Ministry will hold A Night of Hope from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, in the parking lot of the Piggly Wiggly, 410 W. Gannon Ave., Zebulon. Pastor Ricky Brantley will speak and The Matt Bartlett Band will perform.

Singin in the Park, a traditional gospel music concert, will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, in Asheton Town Square Park, at the corner of Cypress and Third Streets in downtown Wendell. BBQ fundraiser

A barbecue chicken fundraiser is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at Vision Baptist Church, 7633 Buffaloe Road, Raleigh. A plate costs $8 and includes half a chicken, potatoes, green beans, dessert and bread.

Special service

Red Hill United Church of Christ will hold its annual revival and homecoming services in August. Revival services are 7:30 p.m. Aug. 19-21, and the homecoming service is 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at 10412 Buffalo Road, Clayton.

The speaker is the Rev. John W. Highsmith Jr.

Grief support

Covenant Presbyterian Church is offering a grief support group 7 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 125 S. Selma Road, Wendell.

This support group is open to anyone who is dealing with loss. Everything shared in the group is confidential.
