Middle school student wins with A’s

Wade Creech, a student at Zebulon GT Magnet Middle School, is one of 40 local students who won a $25 Visa gift card from Wake Electric.

Wake Electric awarded the gift cards to area students who received at least one A (or its equivalent) on their report cards.

The awards are part of a drawing held three times a year and students in any grade in Durham, Franklin, Granville, Johnston, Nash, Vance and Wake counties are eligible to apply.

The deadline for the next drawing is 5 p.m. Sept. 20.

To enter, students should include a copy of the report card with any A’s highlighted, parents’ or guardians’ names (if applicable), home address, email address, school attending and telephone number.
