K’dale library hosts summer activities

East Regional Library is offering several activities for adult library members in July at 946 Steeple Square Court, Knightdale..

The library will host a discussion on taking the next step in developing a small business 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 9. The discussion will be led by Alex Viva, a certified global business professional.

Librarians will also offer hour-long one-on-one sessions 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 10. Visitors will get tips on how to access free online courses offered by top universities. Registration is required but the hour-long session is free.

Alicia Young and Nathaniel Key will discuss re-building confidence after job loss 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16. The speakers will show adult library members how to use guided journal techniques for self-reflection to get through unemployment with confidence. Registration is required.

East Regional Library is offering practice sessions for the SAT at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 25. The sessions provide sample questions, offer the experience of timed testing, and give strategies to raise scores. Practice sessions are free but registration is required.
