•  Jan. 14, 11 p.m., Keneth Ray Mayo, 59, of 212 E. Barbee St., Zebulon, was charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle and larceny.

•  Jan. 12, 1:45 p.m., police responded to a call at Eddins Oil on North Arendell Avenue regarding fraud. Someone obtained a propane cylinder under false pretenses valued at $63.

•  Jan. 13, 4:14 p.m., Eye Care Associates manager Beth Whitley reported a larceny at the store on Wakelon Drive. Someone stole eight pairs of sunglasses valued at $1,422.

•  Jan. 14, 12:41 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of Yates Place regarding a motor vehicle break-in. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.
