Wake County Public Libraries has thousands of eBooks that can be viewed on Kindles Nooks, iPads, Tablets, Smartphones, and various other eReaders.
A team of library experts is available and dedicated to making your eBook experience successful, according to G. Dale Cousins, Senior Library Manager Communications and Community Relations.
“If you received a new eReader this season, wakegov.com/libraries should be your first step in learning how to use it,” said Library Director, Michael Wasilick. Wasilick says the web site has answers to frequently asked questions and a personalized Ask WCPL button on the website for more specific assistance.
The web site features a section devoted to digital media, including videos and tutorials on how to download library eBooks or eAudio books. There is also a Gift Guide, with links to Consumer Reports for assistance in determining which device best meets your needs.
You don’t need to be a current library member to borrow materials though memberships are free to all residents of Wake County and are available at all county library locations.
