EASTERN WAKE COUNTY - Several closings and modified schedules are in effect for local public services for the New Year’s holiday.
Knightdale, Wendell and Zebulon town offices will be closed the Monday after New Year’s Day (Jan. 2).
No changes will be made to Waste Industries’ trash and recycling pickup schedules for New Year’s.
Wake County trash and recycling Convenience Center #10 (located at 5216 Knightdale-Eagle Rock Road in Knightdale) and Wake County Convenience Center #11 (located at 5051 Wendell Boulevard between Zebulon and Wendell) will operate on a normal schedule on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1).
The East Regional Library in Knightdale, and the Wendell and Zebulon community libraries will be closed the Monday after New Year’s Day (Jan. 2).
The Knightdale and Zebulon ABC stores will be closed the Monday after New Year’s Day (Jan. 2), as will U.S. Post Offices.
