Linda Salmon Barbour, 76, died on Saturday, December 17, 2011, after a long illness. She leaves behind two daughters, Terry Barbour of Wendell and Angie Ewing of Youngsville. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Trey Ray of Raleigh and Leah and Matthew Ewing of Youngsville.

A memorial service will be held at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s Street in Raleigh, on Wednesday, December 21, at 6:00 p.m. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Sunnybrook Healthcare & Rehab for the special care they have provided Linda over the past 38 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
