Knightdale town offices will be closed the Monday and Tuesday after Christmas (Dec. 26-27) and the Monday after New Year’s Day (Jan. 2).

The town offices in Wendell and Zebulon will be closed the Friday before Christmas (Dec. 23) and the Monday after Christmas (Dec. 26). Wendell and Zebulon town offices will also be closed the Monday after New Year’s Day (Jan. 2).

No changes will be made to Waste Industries’ trash and recycling pickup schedules for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

Wake County trash and recycling Convenience Center #10 (located at 5216 Knightdale-Eagle Rock Road in Knightdale) and Wake County Convenience Center #11 (located at 5051 Wendell Boulevard between Zebulon and Wendell) will be open from 7 a.m.-noon on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24), and closed on Christmas Day (Dec. 25).

The convenience centers will operate on a normal schedule on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1).

The East Regional Library in Knightdale, and the Wendell and Zebulon community libraries will be open the Saturday of Christmas Eve (Dec. 24). The libraries will be closed the Monday and Tuesday after Christmas (Dec. 26-27) and the Monday after New Year’s Day (Jan. 2).

The Knightdale and Zebulon ABC stores will close early on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24), holding hours of 10 a.m.-6 p.m. that day. The ABC stores will also be closed the Monday after Christmas (Dec. 26) and the Monday after New Year’s Day (Jan. 2).

U.S. Post Offices will be closed the Monday after Christmas (Dec. 26) and the Monday after New Year’s Day (Jan. 2).
