Knightdale arrests• Nov. 26, 12:05 p.m., A 9-year-old juvenile was taken into custody after using a lighter to set fire to property inside the Dollar General on Knightdale Boulevard, Knightdale Public Safety Director Shawn Brown said last week. Lost were: about 70 pieces of clothing valued at $461, 80 books valued at $282, and $1,687 in business.
Knightdale incidents• Nov. 23, 3:46 p.m., Police responded to a case of obtaining property through false pretense at the Office Max on Shoppes at Midway Drive. A gift card worth about $250 was reported stolen.
• Nov. 24, 3:15 a.m, Breaking and entering and damage to real property were reported at the Blockbuster on Widewaters Parkway. Nothing was reported stolen.
• Nov. 27, 10:53 a.m., Breaking and entering, larceny and financial card fraud were reported on the 100 block of Kelley Meadows Road.
