St. Paul No. 2 Church of Christ, 11528 N.C. 39, Emit, is hosting a musical program 5 p.m. Saturday. The concert features gospel groups from Zebulon, Durham, Wendell and Rocky Mount.

Food ministries

Zebulon United Methodist Church offers free lunches. Pickup is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays at the church, corner of Gannon Avenue and North Church Street. For more information, call Cindy Privette at 269-8359.

Glory Cloud and Fire Ministries opens its food pantry from 10 a.m.-noon the third Saturday of the month. For emergency food assistance, call the church at 269-5830.

Table of Grace, a free dinner, is available 6 p.m. the last Monday of the month at Wendell United Methodist Church.

Knightdale Church of God offers a free bread ministry from 11 a.m. to noon Mondays. The church is at 4272 Old Faison Road, Knightdale.

Green Pines Baptist Church operates a food pantry from 6-7 p.m. Wednesdays in the annex behind the church at 1498 Hodge Road, Knightdale.

Grace Fellowship Church serves a free lunch from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. the fourth Saturday of the month at the church, 4040 Wendell Blvd.

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church opens its food pantry from 10 a.m.-noon Tuesdays and 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the Carver Center of Eternal Hope on Morphus Bridge Road. Call 365-7292 for more information.
