WENDELL - An outstanding work ethic and dedication to giving customers quality service every day has earned Wendell resident Mildred Carroll the McDonald's five-Star Employee Ambassador award.
Carroll, an eight-year employee at the Wendell McDonald's restaurant was selected from hundreds of nominees in North and South Carolina to receive the Five-Star Employee Ambassador recognition.
The initiative honors employees who "exemplify the characteristics of five-star spirit and service: teamwork, community involvement, work ethic, leadership and loving the Golden Arches," company officials said.
Employees are chosen based on the qualities that make them a true ambassador to their co-workers, customers and community.
As an ambassador Carroll gets a cash award, and appears in radio advertisements and on promotional materials at her restaurant.
