ZEBULON - Police have made a second arrest regarding an armed robbery that took place Monday night at the Rite Aid on North Arendell Avenue.Anissa Nichole Pulley, 38, of 106 W. Sycamore St. in Zebulon, was arrested Wednesday and charged with being an accessory to the robbery after the fact. Officers and detectives immediately followed up on leads on Monday and were able to identify the suspect as Travis Clifford McClain, 25, also of 106 W. Sycamore St. in Zebulon, within a matter of hours.McClain was located at his residence at about 11:30 p.m. on Monday and was taken into custody without incident. Police responded to a call at the pharmacy, located at 320 N. Arendell Ave., at approximately 8:10 p.m. after a lone suspect reportedly entered the store, indicated he was armed and demanded money from a store clerk. A couple witnesses saw the suspect flee the store on foot. They were able to point police in the direction he fled and provide police a physical description. No shots were fired and no injuries resulted from the the robbery.While police refused to release the exact amount of money stolen from the store, they said it was petty cash taken from one register and a portion of it was recovered in making the arrest.McClain faces felony charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
