Target Corp. has donated $2,000 to the East Regional Library for the Moonlight Walk.

This year's event will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at the library and adjacent park.

Moonlight Walk is a fun-filled family evening for residents and library members to listen to storyteller Fred Motley, enjoy the music of Sandbox Band and watch a puppet show.

Guests can also stroll through the enchanted forest behind the library and meet various storybook characters.

Families are encouraged to check out books from the library to continue the fun at home.

For more information about Wake County Public Libraries and the Moonlight Walk, go to wakegov.com/libraries/events or email Judy Packer at judy.packer@wakegov.com.
