Colton Lee Ayscue, 21, was taken from us on May 5, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Colton was born November 12, 1989 in Wake Co to Anthony Steve Ayscue and Theresa Johnson Ayscue. He was a 2008 graduate of Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School and a 2010 graduate of NCSU Agricultural Institute. Colton was a golf course maintenance assistant with the Methodist University PGM golf program in Fayetteville.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Monday, May 9, 2011 at Tippett’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 2530 Shotwell Road, Clayton, NC 27520.

Burial: Tippett’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Colton is survived by his: Parents, Steve and Theresa Ayscue of Raleigh; Brother, Kyler D. Ayscue, US Navy, stationed in San Diego; Sister, Tabitha Ayscue Hinson and husband, Travis of Troutman; His Loving Dog, Basil Ayscue; Paternal Grandmother, Pearl Woodard Ayscue of Wendell; Maternal Grandparents, Clarence Sr. and Billie Johnson of Knightdale; Loving aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Colton was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wilbur D. Ayscue, “Papa” of Wendell.

The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and other times at the home of Pearl Ayscue, 5821 Quail Covey Lane, Wendell, NC 27591.

Flowers are accepted or the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to assist with expenses.
