Knightdale arrests

April 18, 6:30 p.m., David Christopher Pruitt, 24, of 512 Costmary Lane, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Knightdale police said they found a marijuana cigarette, a marijuana grinder and scales in his home. Knightdale Assistant police Chief Jason Godwin said police found the items when they went to Pruitt's home to investigate a break-in. Godwin said Pruitt had called a resident and left a message on his answering machine accusing him of breaking into Pruitt's home. He called Knightdale police and an officer was sent to Pruitt's home to investigate the break-in, Godwin said.

April 22, 11 p.m., Frederick Lee Moye, 33, of 6616 Poole Road, Raleigh, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II drugs, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for selling drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting and obstructing a police officer.

Knightdale incidents

April 23, 11:37 a.m., Juan Basilio reported that a person at Lowes Home Improvement approached him about buying a Lowe's gift card that turned out to be worthless. Knightdale police Chief Shawn Brown said the suspect got a clerk to verify that the card was valued at $127, but switched that card with a Lowe's gift card with no value and presented it to Basilio who paid $127 for it.

April 19, 8:11 a.m., An employee of Walmart, Knightdale Boulevard, reported that someone passed a forged check at the business.

March 22, 12:01 a.m., Dominique Shanae Avery-Kennedy of Fort Drum, New York reported identity theft.

April 19, 11:40 p.m., La Ferne Harris of Onyx Lane reported two break-ins at his home and the larceny of computer equipment, electronic equipment, jewelry and a pillow case taken.

April 20, 6 p.m., an employee of the State Employees Credit Union, Smithfield Road, reported a forged check presented at the business.

Wendell arrests

April 25, 2:30 p.m., Carmen Bueno, 23, 1120 Holly Pointe Dr., Wendell, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell, illegal sale of cocaine, maintaining a dwelling or motor vehicle for the purpose of selling cocaine, eluding arrest and resisting an officer.

Wendell incidents

April 26, 2:12 p.m., Sylvia Kamara, of Raleigh, reported the larceny of a laptop computer, valued at $900, from a home on Old Tavern Drive.

Zebulon incidents

April 23, 2:43 p.m., McDonald's manager Eddie Elliot reported a fraud at the eatery on Wakelon Street. Someone used a counterfeit coin to try to purchase food.

April 23, 4:09 p.m., Kerr Drug assistant manager Mustapha Bouzidi reported counterfeiting at the store on Arendell Avenue.

April 25, 9:35 p.m., Dollar Tree manager Krystal Hannah reported a robbery in the parking lot outside the store.

April 26, 6 a.m., Iana Bullock reported a larceny at her residence at 401 Jones St., Apt. B. Someone stole $2,800 cash from the residence.
