Lynn Weeks Halstead, 53, of 5552 Old US 64 East, Zebulon, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at her home. Lynn was born April 26, 1957 in Poughkeepsie, NY, to Joseph Charles Weeks, Sr. and the late Sally Marie Tubbs Weeks. Lynnwill be lovingly remembered as the “Ice Cream Lady” of Middlesex Pharmacy, where she had worked for the past six years.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Halstead; father, Joe Weeks, of Highland, NY; step-children, Jesse Halstead, of Milton, NY; Jolene Nahlik, of Poughkeepsie, NY; four grandchildren; and her brothers, Joseph Weeks and David Weeks, both of New Paltz, NY.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Milton, NY.
