Bobbie Doyle Gurley, 75, died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Ruthie Gray Pearce Doyle and Johnnie Harold Doyle and preceded in death by her stepfather Hoke S. “John” Perry. Mrs. Gurley, a bookkeeper for over 30 years with M. E. Williams Accounting, was a member of Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, March 13, 2011 in Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Gurley is survived by her son, Hal Gurley and his wife, Betty Ann; sister, Alma Woodlief and husband, Carlyle; nieces, Grae Pearce and husband, Lynn Pearce, Lynn Meyer and husband, Bob all of Wake Forest; great nephews, Bryan and Brenden Pearce and Lane Meyer; numerous cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church, 4525 Hopkins Chapel Road, Zebulon, NC 27597.
