A 24-year-old Wendell woman was killed Thursday night in a head-on collision at Buffaloe and Forestville roads in Wake County.Amanda Lee Denton, of 934 Old Zebulon Road, was a passenger in a vehicle headed west on Buffaloe Road when the accident occurred about 9:30 p.m., according to the state Highway Patrol.The westbound vehicle crossed the center line and struck a vehicle headed east, the patrol said.Two other people were injured in the crash. Their names and conditions were not released.
