WENDELL - The Riley Hill Family Life Center has been awarded a grant from the John Rex Endowment for staff development of the board including comprehensive planning, evaluation, grant research and writing.

Staff at the center believe this is an excellent opportunity for Riley Hill Family Life Center to maximize their board and staff's potential for development and growth in rural eastern Wake County.

"So many foundations don't give you money for staff devlopment, so we're very fortunate to get this from John Rex," said Evelyn Lucas, director of the Riley Hill Family Life Center.

The Riley Hill Family Life Center targets young people and works to improve academic achievement, leadership development and character building.
