East Wake holds day of baseball

This Saturday, Feb. 27, the Warriors will host a day of baseball and good eats.

Seven- to 12-year-olds will play a coach-pitch scrimmage from 10-11:30 a.m. before middle schoolers will play from noon-1:30. The East Wake High School team will play a scrimmage from 2-4 p.m.

While baseball is being played, barbecue chicken plates will be served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Money raised in the luncheon fundraiser will go toward further improvements to the East Wake baseball facilities.
