Art exhibitThe Wendell Chamber of Commerce and the Wendell Woman's Club announce a call to artists for the annual Wendell Visual Arts Exhibit titled "Animals In Art - for the SPCA."
The exhibit, set to run from Jan. 22-24, 2010, is designed to raise awareness for the SPCA of Wake County. It will showcase original fine art pieces that depict companion animals.
The event is open to North Carolina artists over 18 years old. Work must be original, completed within the last two years, and focus on the theme "Animals in Art - for the SPCA." No photography, prints, crafts, 3D sculptures or pottery will be accepted. All work must be framed, ready for hanging, may not exceed 32" x 40", and may be available for purchase.
