A native of New York, she was the daughter of the late George F. Smith and Eva Mae Cole Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Haberle.

Survivors include her daughter, Evelyn H. Devlin and her husband, Joseph of Raleigh; one grandson; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Thursday night in the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service chapel.
