ZEBULON — Johnston County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men in Princeton Wednesday who they say were involved in the RBC bank robbery here.Charles Harvey Faison, 27, of 203 Lucky Oak Road, Goldsboro, and his cousin, Devonza Faison, 29, of 102 Powell Road, Mount Olive, have been charged in connection with the robbery, which took place about 1:30 p.m.Police were able to find the men thanks to a tip from a witness who happened to write down the license plate of the gold Lexus the men used as a getaway car.According to police Chief Tim Hayworth, the witness was sitting in his truck when Devonza Faison came running down Arendell Avenue wearing dark clothes and a bandanna around his neck and carrying a bag. Faison ran in front of the man’s truck and got in the car in front of him.The witness then saw police pull up to the bank. After a few minutes the witness approached police with the license plate number.Deputies in Johnston County stopped the car in a Hardee’s parking lot in Princeton.Hayworth said he believes all the money stolen in the robbery was recovered.Here’s what Hayworth said happened.Devonza Faison allegedly entered the bank and approached a teller. He indicated that he had a weapon and jumped over the counter. Then he bumped the teller out of the way and took money from drawer.Both men are in the Wake County Jail under $100,000 bond each. Devonza Faison is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. Charles Faison is charged with aiding and abetting robbery with a dangerous weapon.
