The May Knightdale Chamber of Commerce Teacher Excellence Award was presented at KCOC Business After Hours hosted by Buckthal Orthodontics, 937 Old Knight Road, Knightdale May 14.

James Ryan, an English teacher at Knightdale High School, is this month’s recipient.

The Knightdale Chamber of Commerce TEA award is presented to honor a dedicated teacher who loves his students.

Ryan was presented with a $100 gift card as well as a plaque. Buckthal Orthodontics co-sponsored this month’s TEA award.
